This policy explains what HexCheck stores and what may be collected when you use the site.

Information stored on your device

HexCheck uses browser local storage to remember colors you save and colors you recently viewed. This information remains in your browser unless you clear it. It is not transmitted to HexCheck by the color tool.

Hosting and technical logs

Our hosting and security providers may process standard request information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamps, and security signals. This information is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and understand aggregate performance.

Analytics

HexCheck may use privacy-focused web analytics to understand aggregate usage, such as page views, device categories, and referring sites. We do not ask you to create an account for the core tool.

Advertising

HexCheck may display advertisements in the future. Advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies to measure ad delivery, limit repetition, detect fraud, and, where permitted, personalize ads. Where legally required, a consent message will be shown before optional advertising technologies are used.

Third-party links

Pages may link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Your choices

You can remove saved and recent colors from the More Color Tools window. You can also clear site data using your browser settings. Browser privacy controls may be used to restrict cookies and other storage.

Changes

We may update this policy as HexCheck adds features, analytics, advertising, or other services. The date above will be revised when material changes are made.
