DIGITAL
Inspect and test screen color.
Find colors, sample images, calculate WCAG contrast, build gradients, and inspect the color system used by a public website.
ABOUT HEXCHECK
HexCheck is a connected color platform for digital products, design systems, homes, beauty, and fashion. Start with the information you already have, then move into the tool that answers the next question without rebuilding the work from scratch.
THE PLATFORM TODAY
HexCheck now covers the technical side of color and the real situations where color decisions get made. Each area uses focused tools rather than forcing every question into the same interface.
DIGITAL
Find colors, sample images, calculate WCAG contrast, build gradients, and inspect the color system used by a public website.
DESIGN
Build coordinated palettes, document full brand systems, browse curated references, and learn practical color workflows.
HOME
Compare paint-ready references, simulate lighting changes, assign room surfaces, and coordinate paint with wood, stone, metal, and textiles.
BEAUTY
Explore undertone direction, narrow foundation families, evaluate lip colors, and compare seasonal temperature, contrast, and chroma.
FASHION
Build role-based outfit palettes, extract colors from fabrics, compare metals and stones, and choose finishing accessory colors.
THE CONNECTED IDEA
A hex value, image, website, fabric, complexion sample, room color, or existing item can become the starting point. HexCheck is designed to keep that context available as the question changes.
The global color switcher and tool handoffs let supported workflows reuse the current color or complete color set.
Contrast results, palette colors, scanner findings, and applied color choices can open the next relevant workspace with less repeated setup.
Pro workspaces preserve saved colors, comparisons, palettes, gradients, collections, brand systems, scanner reports, and history.
MEET PALETTE
Palette is designed to feel more like a helpful desktop companion than a generic support chat. She can answer color questions, remember the working set, understand conversational follow-ups, and point to the right HexCheck tool.
FREE AND PRO
Free access covers practical color inspection, discovery, testing, learning, and previews. Pro is for persistent workspaces, complete advanced workflows, scanner output, and production handoff.

A ONE-PERSON PROJECT
HexCheck is designed, written, tested, and maintained by one person in spare time. It began as a practical way to learn more deeply about color, accessibility, product design, and software development. It has grown into a passion project with a much larger platform than originally planned.
Using the tools, sharing thoughtful feedback, reporting bugs, and telling someone about HexCheck all help it continue. Voluntary support helps cover the services and time required to keep improving the project, but it is never required to use the free tools.
HONEST LIMITS
HexCheck provides calculations, comparisons, structured references, and practical starting points. The final decision still belongs in the real environment where the color will be used.
Screens, cameras, lighting, finishes, materials, and surrounding colors can change how the same value appears.
WCAG ratios are measurable, but accessible implementation also depends on type size, states, semantics, content, and interaction.
Home, Beauty, and Fashion tools compare color direction and relationships. They cannot promise an exact physical, cosmetic, or material match.
The scanner can inventory accessible HTML and linked CSS. Colors created only after JavaScript runs may not be detected.
Features, integrations, outputs, limits, and availability may change as reliability and the connected workflow improve.
START WITH WHAT YOU HAVE
Choose the area that matches the decision, and HexCheck will help move the color forward.
